Perhaps it’s the white blanket covering towns and villages that makes Advent and the days before Christmas the quietest time of the year. These days are made even more magical by the sound of bells ringing — famously described in a well-known Christmas carol as especially sweet.

The daily opening of the Advent window in the pedestrian zone at 4:30 pm creates a wonderfully festive atmosphere. Enjoy various performances, delicious treats, and Christmas shopping with the merchants of Vipiteno and at the market stalls. The torchlight hike on Monte Cavallo is crowned by a spectacular view over the town.
